Job Summary
Design and deliver software applications within the AWS ecosystem, writing high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code. Troubleshoot software, application, network, database, and architectural challenges using a suite of cloud services. Collaborate within an agile team to help customers design cloud computing architectures and solve critical, highly complex problems spanning multiple services. Build consensus around best practices and apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions. Work on multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment using CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field
- +5 years' experience of delivering web applications in one or more software languages as a Software Engineer
- Experience in one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks
- Experience in building web services
- Knowledge of the following database (or related) technologies: SQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, MariaDB
- Knowledge and understanding of version control using Git, related services such as GitHub/GitLab, and the process of code reviews and/or pair programming
- Experience in automated testing
- Experience and knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Understanding of how to use CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Willing to work on multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment
- Knowledge of agile and scrum-based ways of working
- Excellent communication skills in English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of full-stack software development (preferably in the AWS ecosystem)
- a technology stack which includes Serverless, NodeJS, ReactJS, Object-oriented PHP and SQL
- be comfortable working in the technical delivery of a range of full-stack software projects supporting our customers' creative and transformative spirit of innovation across all technologies
- be hands-on, troubleshooting software, application, network, database, and architectural challenges using a suite of cloud services as well as your existing knowledge and tools

- Experience in one or more front-end JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS/Vue etc)

- Knowledge and understanding of version control using Git, related services such as GitHub/GitLab, and the process of code reviews and/or pair programming
- Experience in automated testing (unit testing, integration testing, etc)
- Experience and knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Understanding of how to use CI/CD pipelines and tools
- Willing to work on multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment
- Knowledge of agile and scrum-based ways of working
