Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, Data Pipeline at Fullstory focused on our ingestion systems. You will design and build distributed, high-scale data ingestion pipelines using Go, Kubernetes, and GCP, ensuring reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency. You’ll work on streaming ingestion and processing to transform session data for product analytics, ML systems, and downstream consumers. Responsibilities include delivering enhancements to the Ingestion pipeline, participating in code and design reviews, and leading iterative projects to improve throughput and reliability. This role is hybrid with in-office attendance one day per week in Atlanta, GA, and requires residency within commutable distance. Qualifications emphasize production Go experience, Kubernetes, cloud microservices, streaming data processing, and collaboration with engineering and product teams. The base salary ranges from $160,000 to $180,000, with up to 10% discretionary bonus based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience writing Go in production
- Strong understanding of distributed architectures and scale
- Kubernetes experience in production
- Experience with cloud-based microservices (GCP)
- Experience with asynchronous or streaming ingestion and processing systems
- Ability to review code and designs and provide guidance
- Willingness to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency
