Senior Software Engineer - Data & AI (all genders)

Develop production-ready software, APIs, and internal web apps in modern Python with clean architecture, testing, and CI/CD pipelines for researchers to evaluate test data. Build and operate scalable data pipelines and the data platform on Databricks and Azure, ingesting sensor data via MQTT and Event Hubs into Bronze/Silver/Gold tables. Engineer AI applications and agents that support R&D tasks such as hypothesis generation, material selection, and synthesis planning using LLMs, MCP, and classical machine learning for degradation prediction. End-to-end own systems from data source to researcher-facing tools, ensuring security, observability, and reliability while collaborating with chemistry and engineering teams to translate scientific questions into software solutions.
