Job Summary
Develop and maintain database-driven applications, DBOs, APIs, and batch processes using PL/SQL and Python to augment the Fiserv DNA Core-Banking platform. Profile and tune SQL queries, implement database hints, and develop custom reports to provide business intelligence while troubleshooting code and stored procedures. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements, lead schema design efforts, and provide subject matter expertise on application and database architecture. Evaluate pull/merge requests and create comprehensive documentation for developed solutions and solution designs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of back-end programming experience utilizing Oracle PL/SQL and Python 3 (or similar scripting language) or 5+ years of experience working with financial Core Banking platforms in a technical capacity
- Expert working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
- Expert working knowledge of RDBMS fundamentals
- Expert working knowledge of database application design
- Expert working knowledge of SQL querying
- Expert working knowledge of SQL tuning
- Expert working knowledge of SQL optimization
- Expert-level knowledge of Python or similar language
