Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer – Command & Control to design, develop, integrate, and sustain software solutions in a secure mission environment. Lead delivery of larger features or technical workstreams, translate requirements into effective, maintainable solutions, and ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, and testability. Collaborate across software, systems, integration, and test teams; troubleshoot defects; participate in design reviews, code reviews, and planning; identify risks and mitigation strategies; provide peer guidance to reinforce engineering practices; support disciplined development, testing, and documentation. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 6+ years of experience, TS/SCI clearance, C++ and Python proficiency, and Agile experience. Preferred: SNMP, Cisco network gear, CI Poly, Security+, Robot Framework, Behave, GitLab CI/CD, and experience with mission-management platforms and classified environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience in technical or mission-driven environments
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Experience in command-and-control (C2) software environments
- Experience with C++ development
- Experience with Python development or scripting
- Experience supporting software development, integration, or sustainment in a structured engineering environment
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Ability to work independently within assigned scope and contribute to reliable delivery across software efforts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
