Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Platforms responsible for supporting secure government cloud environments through bug fixes, enhancements, documentation development, and onboarding, while also contributing to new event-driven mission services. You will work on a team supporting government cloud environments with bug fixes, enhancements, and optimizations; develop user guides, API and Swagger documentation, and onboarding of new users; contribute to R&D of new mission services with an event-driven architecture; part of an employee-owned international research and engineering company. On-site in Raleigh, NC; U.S. citizenship and active DoD TS clearance with SCI eligibility required. Preferred experience includes designing, deploying cloud-native apps, implementing event-driven architectures, securing software, UI/UX design, Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD), Scrum Master certification, and Scrum framework proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship (No exceptions; green card holders are not eligible)
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- BS or higher in Computer science, IT, Engineering, Applied mathematics, or a closely related field
- 8+ years relevant work experience with BS
- 6+ years relevant work experience with MS
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Technical leadership experience
- Willing to work on-site 5 days a week at Raleigh, NC location
