Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Platform & Java) - REMOTE

Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and cloud-native backend development. Design and develop core platform features with a focus on cloud services and platform architecture, build and maintain scalable Java-based backend systems, and contribute to the evolution of the platform's API ecosystem using GraphQL and REST. Drive technical design, implementation, and production support activities, improve code quality and engineering standards through peer reviews, and collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions. Will troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, contribute to architectural decisions and long-term platform evolution, and help modernize cloud infrastructure, deployment workflows, and platform capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong expertise in Java and JVM-based backend development
- Experience building and operating cloud-native applications
- Hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and/or GraphQL APIs
- Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience working with modern public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Fluent English communication skills
