Job Summary
Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot the GHOSTGEM software suite, including DINO, by implementing, testing, and integrating applications with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products. Utilize Linux CLI tools, Bash scripting, and Python to build solutions while leveraging Rust concepts, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, and containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Charts. Manage deployment pipelines using GitLab CI and Ansible for infrastructure as code, and coordinate messaging via RabbitMQ. Maintain source control through Git and collaborate using the Atlassian suite. Requires 7 years of software engineering experience, a technical degree, and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Salary ranges from $230,000 to $240,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph
- 7 years of experience as a software engineer
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 2 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
- Experience developing scripts using Bash
- Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
- Experience with Rust programming concepts, or a willingness and aptitude to learn Rust
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
- Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
- Experience using Git Source Control System
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
