Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer responsible for full lifecycle development, technical leadership in an agile team, DevOps & microservices, and applying AI technologies to accelerate delivery. Role includes architectural design, development, testing, automated testing, mentoring teammates, and participating in a high-quality, data-driven engineering culture within Cisco Webex's Galway-based team operating in a hybrid model.
Required Qualifications
- 3rd Level Qualification: Bachelor's or higher degree in an analytical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Electronic/Software Engineering)
- Work experience: 6+ Years Demonstrated experience in software development
- Coding Aptitude: Extensive architecture and programming experience and the willingness to learn new technologies quickly
- Problem Solver: Ability to apply and lead a scientific approach and creative skills to complex problems
- Adaptable & Collaborative: Flexible, thrives in diverse team environments, and communicates clearly and precisely
- Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning and quality results
