Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain responsive front-end interfaces and robust back-end services for internal and fan-facing applications, owning features from concept to production. Develop RESTful APIs connecting applications, data sources, and third-party platforms while designing ELT pipelines from diverse data sources into the data warehouse. Act as the Director of Engineering's primary technical partner, shaping the team's roadmap and helping model engineering standards through code reviews and documentation. Partner with revenue, marketing, and IT departments to define roadmaps and deliver automation opportunities that enhance data processing efficiency. Ensure all data processing and storage operations comply with privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA through secure, privacy-compliant solutions. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate based on the event calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
- Proficiency across both front-end and back-end development in a production environment
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one back-end language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go)
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake), and transformation/orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, Prefect)
- Experience developing and utilizing cloud-based architecture to solve complex needs
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
- Familiarity with AI-first development, and tools like Claude Code
- Ability to adapt to occasional variations in schedule including working nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate based on the event calendar

Desired Qualifications
