Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer role focused on planning, designing and developing cloud-based software within a SCRUM team. Responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software using C#/.NET and AWS-based services, while staying current with cloud offerings and software-architecture trends. The role includes translating specifications into application design, writing and troubleshooting code, developing comprehensive test plans, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to performance analysis and documentation. The candidate will work on high-throughput, distributed systems with emphasis on security and reliable software delivery. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience), 10+ years in C#/.NET, 3+ years of AWS experience, and an AWS Architect Associate Certification. Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with C#/.Net
- 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud technologies (RDS, SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, OpenSearch)
- Practical experience with JSON, XML, LINQ, SQL and database design
- Experience developing high-throughput transactional systems and distributed applications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Programming, Computer Science, or related field
- AWS Architect Associate Certification
