Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using C#, Java, React, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL while building scalable APIs and integrations. Contribute to software architecture, lead code reviews, and mentor engineers through technical guidance. Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions within a regulated fintech environment. Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and delivery activities to ensure successful product outcomes. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements that improve engineering effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality software solutions in Agile environments
- Proven experience designing and developing scalable enterprise applications and APIs
- Experience contributing to architectural decisions and technical design initiatives
- Strong front-end and back-end development experience
- Strong proficiency in C#, Java, or other modern programming languages and frameworks
- Experience developing scalable enterprise applications, APIs, and integrations
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, and modern development methodologies
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and deployment best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring engineers in a collaborative environment
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and iterative software delivery
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of payments, fintech, banking, or other regulated industries is a plus
- Fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated industry experience preferred
