Job Summary
Own products and services end-to-end, from requirements to deployment in production systems. Collaborate in small, agile teams using pair and mob programming to solve complex technical problems at massive scale. Participate in architecture and technical direction decisions while supporting and mentoring other engineers. Leverage Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud-native systems to build scalable solutions for global commerce. Share knowledge to evolve team best practices and take full operational responsibility for owned services.
Required Qualifications
- Multiple experiences working with one or more general-purpose programming languages including Java
- Experience designing and building scalable products and services
- Experience with the cloud (preferably AWS)
- Great problem solving abilities
- Working proficiency in English
- 3 days / week on site expectation
- 30-day holiday allowance
- work from abroad policy, enabling employees to work remotely for up to another 30 days per year
Desired Qualifications
- Accounting/Fintech Domain: Experience with - or a strong interest in—the complexities of accounting systems or ledgers is a distinct advantage
- Java and Kotlin (latest versions)
- Modern frameworks (Spring Boot, React)
- Cloud-native systems (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker)
- Event-driven architectures (SNS/SQS, Kinesis)
