Senior Software Engineer - Cards Experience EU

Senior Software Engineer on the Cards Experience EU team, a key technical contributor building and evolving the core card spending experience within the Spend domain. You will work with engineers across European hubs to deliver complex, high-impact initiatives, write production code, shape technical designs, and drive urgent strategic projects. You’ll contribute to the platform’s technical direction in areas including card infrastructure, banking integrations, and complex flows of funds, ensuring reliability and scalability. You’ll own the full lifecycle of features from discovery with product teams through design, coding, deployment, and measuring impact. Expect to mentor teammates, lead design reviews, and collaborate across squads and engineers, product managers, and engineering managers. The role emphasizes autonomy, pragmatic problem-solving, and alignment with architectural standards, CI/CD, testing strategies, and observability. You’ll engage in cross-functional collaboration, contribute to security and risk management, and foster AI-augmented development, including leveraging agentic workflows and AI-powered code reviews. The team works in-person 3 days a week in hubs, with relocation support for eligible roles; English is the office language, and portfolio/resume submission is requested.
