Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary
Deliver high-quality software for embedded controls systems in the electrification space, specifically for VMEC High Voltage Battery Wired/Wireless Communication and Sensing. Design, develop, and implement physics and controls requirements to improve diagnostics strategies and controller communication while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and MISRA guidelines. Test and demonstrate software functionality using automated tools across controller systems and vehicles, linking requirements to test cases for traceability. Lead an Agile Scrum team and coordinate with Systems, Safety, Validation, and Architecture departments to foster collaboration and promote Software Built-In Quality. Utilize CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and SOA to deploy optimized, modular solutions, while developing AI-driven diagnostics for fault detection and anomaly recognition. Hybrid work policy includes three days in-office and two days remote, with a requirement to report to the local office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study
- Five (5) years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, Embedded Controls Engineer or related occupation
- Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study
- Two (2) years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, Embedded Controls Engineer or related occupation
- Two (2) years of experience with Embedded software development
- Two (2) years of experience with System design diagnostics strategies and control systems for embedded software applications
- Two (2) years of experience with Testing strategies including SiL HiL and Vehicle-Level testing frameworks
- Two (2) years of experience with C C++ programming and Python scripting
- Two (2) years of experience with Diagnostics strategies software verification and validation methodologies
- Two (2) years of experience with Software testing environments
- Must be able to report to local office
