Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer responsible for development and maintenance of critical applications across Magentus, collaborating with product developers and business units to design, implement, and improve software and systems. Lead and mentor more junior colleagues, provide technical leadership and decision-making, and contribute to product architecture while ensuring quality and performance. Hybrid working arrangement with three days in Manchester/London offices and two days from home; flexible to collaborate across time zones. Preferred experience includes line management or mentoring, healthcare/regulated industries software, real-time application development, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Experience using C++, C, Linux
- Real time application and UI/UX development experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in line management, coaching or mentoring
- Experience developing software for regulated industries (healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical devices)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
