Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer responsible for building and scaling backend infrastructure and APIs for lending fintech platforms. Collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, and Data Science to support lending, KYC, payments, fraud prevention, and collections. Work on backend services, decisioning and underwriting systems, third-party integrations, and internal tooling; participate in shaping the technical and product roadmap; mentor junior engineers; scale services to handle increasing traffic and complexity; emphasize security, performance, and reliability in all work.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years backend software design, coding, and shipping experience
- Experience coordinating with stakeholders and leadership for technical roadmap
- Knowledge of software development fundamentals, distributed systems, data storage, and agile methodologies
- Ability to code and ship quality products in a timely manner
- Functional knowledge of Android, Machine Learning, DevOps, etc. for contributing to related discussions
- Entrepreneurial, ownership-driven approach, strong collaboration and communication
- Comfort with distributed team and global collaboration
- Willingness to work in a hybrid/remote setup in India
