Job Summary
Design and verify embedded software for BorgWarner PowerDrive System control modules, including wheel drive and electric vehicle propulsion units. Implement control software using model-based design and traditional methods, conducting MIL/SIL unit testing and HIL integration. Create design and requirement documents while supporting application and calibration work from a control software perspective. Collaborate with ECU development stakeholders following the BorgWarner Software Development Process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Master's degree
- Minimum of 3 years' project experience in ECU software development in automotive industry
- Experienced user of embedded C programming language
- Project experience with Matlab/Simulink and Stateflow and auto-coding
- Project experience in MBD (Model Based Development)
- Project experience in CAN stack
- Project experience in software unit testing
- Project experience in UDS protocol
- Network Management
- Bootloader
- Familiar with 32bit/16bit microcontroller from Infineon and NXP(Freescale)
- Experience in AUTOSAR software development and configuration
- Familiar with CMMI or Automotive SPICE
- Good English skills in both written and verbal
- Good driving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Project experience with Targetlink
- Experience with BLDC and PMSM control
- Experience of Vehicle Dynamic control
- Experience on vehicle dynamics control development & simulation
- Experience with Vector CAN tools, CANalyzer/CANape/CANoe etc.
- Experience of script languages such as Python
- Experience with C#/C++ development
