Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer responsible for BI & Analytics within Risk reporting, leveraging MicroStrategy and Power BI to develop and support risk-related dashboards and applications. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing, developing and testing new BI features, enabling PnL and VaR calculations, maintaining governance and coding standards, collaborating with an international IT team, and supporting business colleagues on IT platforms. Technologies include .Net Core, Snowflake, AWS, Python, SQL, and Tableau as a beneficial skill. Role requires agile collaboration, strong communication, ownership of multiple requests, and willingness to travel to Europe at least once per year. Hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office in Chicago. Salary range: $90,000-$155,000 plus discretionary bonus.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science
- Very good experience and working knowledge of MicroStrategy & PowerBI
- Good communication techniques and self organising skills
- Working calm under high pressure and taking ownership on managing multiple user requests
- Open to travel at least once a year to Europe strengthen collaboration within the team and cross stakeholders
