Job Summary
Senior Backend Software Engineer at Roche/mySugr in Vienna, focusing on developing health-care software platforms with Java 21+/Spring Boot 3+, REST APIs, and relational databases. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience including 2+ years backend
- Experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3+
- Strong SQL/relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- OpenID Connect and Keycloak or similar IAM solutions
- Experience building AI/LLM-powered backend services
- Clean, testable, performant backend code; strong software design skills
- AWS or other cloud provider experience
- English proficiency in written and verbal communication
- Willingness to collaborate in cross-functional teams; CI/CD practices
