Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer (Backend) role focused on building the AI-native private bank for business owners. Responsibilities include ownership over large domains related to card processing/issuing and core ledgering of financial transactions; design, development, and maintenance of Flex's platform; architecting services and data models for growth; end-to-end ownership including API contracts, data, scalability, security, observability, and metrics; mentoring engineers; driving best-in-class technology frameworks; and being on call to support the servicing team. Must have proficiency in NodeJS+TypeScript, experience with scalable, low-latency architectures, cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), 4+ years of experience, strong communication, and a track record of shipping features at scale. Locations include San Francisco, Miami, New York, and fully remote within the US; open to candidates from Canada, the United States, and Colombia.
