Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on backend development, you will build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale, working on projects like the serverless platform, core cloud platform, partner ecosystem, notebook dataplane, and application platform. You will apply your expertise in large-scale distributed systems, SaaS platforms, and cloud technologies while collaborating with your team to improve performance, security, and usability.
Required Qualifications
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of production level experience in one of: Java, Scala, Golang, C++, or similar language
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data
- Experience with cloud technologies, e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes
