Job Summary
Own quarterly engineering goals by leading teams through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems in just-in-time transaction processing and ledgering systems. Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to articulate technical constraints and partner on decisions balancing risks and trade-offs. Proactively identify project, process, or technology issues, advocate for solutions, and maintain team artifacts through metrics monitoring and on-call support. Establish code review and design standards, foster quality culture through writing and tech talks, and develop talent via feedback and guidance.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
- experience in designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale
- experience with technologies like Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
- experience shipping front end applications
- experience defining a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component
- experience making significant changes in a large code base
- developed a suite of tools and practices that enable you and your team to do so safely
- experience demonstrating that you take ownership of your growth
- proactively seeking feedback from your team, your manager, and your stakeholders
- strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team
- Location - Remote Poland
- The majority of our roles can be located anywhere in Poland
