Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer / Architect to design, develop, and modernize software for microbiology products in a regulated IVDR environment. On-site in Vantaa with potential remote/hybrid work. Responsibilities include building high-quality software for Windows desktop platforms, guiding architectural decisions, communicating trade-offs to stakeholders, ensuring traceability and documentation, mentoring the team, and improving testing, CI/CD, code quality, and tooling (including AI-based development tooling). Requires senior-level software engineering experience, strong architectural mindset, experience with desktop development (C#/.NET or Java), and a background in regulated, quality-driven environments; emphasizes agile practices, secure development, and collaboration across teams. Required Qualifications
- Senior software engineering experience
- Experience in desktop application development (Windows)

- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Proficient in English; Finnish considered advantageous
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
