Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer responsible for determining operational feasibility, defining requirements, and developing software solutions across the software development life cycle. Applies Agile/Scrum practices, documents solutions with flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and comments, and plans/implements DevOps processes for cloud and non-cloud applications. Collaborates with vendors and customers, analyzes development and service issues, and contributes to policy/procedure improvements. Requires US citizenship, a Top Secret clearance, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science or a related field, and 10+ years of software development experience. Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, and C, with experience across Linux/Unix and Windows environments, and familiarity with JIRA/Confluence. Location is onsite at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen
- Top Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience creating, debugging, patching, and maintaining software and/or applications
- Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages to include Python, Java, JavaScript, and C languages
- Ability to Integrate with other organizations/teams
- Ability to develop a highly effective working relationship with the customer.
