Job Summary
Senior Android Software Engineer responsible for enabling and performing highly efficient Android application development, delivering complex features and performance improvements, covering code with tests to improve coverage, participating in code reviews and technical design discussions, advising product and business teams, mentoring junior developers, and coordinating with the release team to ensure high-quality code delivery and timely bug resolution. The role emphasizes ownership of engineering standards, growth mindset within the team, and collaboration across Truecaller’s development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Android development
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK (minimum 5+ years)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Proficient in Kotlin and Java
- Proficient with Git
- Experience with SQL databases
- Excellent debugging skills
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Experience with Agile methodologies
