Senior Software Engineer

Architect and Lead: Drive the design of complex, multi-service features from concept through delivery, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security. Elevate standards for code quality, testing discipline, and performance benchmarks. Decompose large initiatives into actionable milestones and mentor engineers through code reviews and technical partnership. Serve as escalation point for complex customer issues; drive root-cause analysis and permanent resolutions. Innovate with AI: leverage AI-native engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate shipping while maintaining elite quality. Govern AI integration patterns balancing velocity with reliability. Shape the team by calibrating hiring standards and contributing to architectural discussions across the organization. Broad influence across engineering leadership and peer groups. Required background includes 8+ years of production software experience, strong OO design, expertise in Java and/or Python/Go, end-to-end system delivery, and leadership capabilities. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Bonus points for experience with data connectors, ETL pipelines, metadata extraction, Kubernetes/Docker, JDBC/ODBC, data catalog concepts, Airflow, and data modeling in RDBMS.
