Job Summary
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack software across diverse platforms, architecting solutions that balance scalability and performance for device protocol communications. Guide the software development life cycle from requirements gathering through deployment and optimization while making strategic technical decisions that influence the broader team's approach. Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and architectural coaching. Research emerging technologies to champion adoption where they bring significant value, and contribute innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement in both product and process.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with proven success in delivering complex projects
- Advanced object-oriented programming skills, preferably in C#
- Strong experience with database design, SQL, and backend services
- Solid track record of implementing and improving unit testing and automated testing strategies
- Experience in distributed systems, real-time communications, or high-performance applications
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional collaboration
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the IoT and/or working with hardware devices is a plus
