Job Summary
Work on complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions across all phases of the software/hardware development lifecycle. Utilize strong investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues, develop solutions, and support program leads on technical decision-making and problem resolution. Perform technical leadership roles for key tasks while ensuring performance to technical, cost, schedule, and quality targets. Support system and software requirements and architecture generation, collaborate across multiple disciplines, and contribute to program and customer meetings. Requires DO-178 knowledge, C/C++ experience, and onsite presence in Winston-Salem, NC.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company's immigration sponsorship now or in the future
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++
- Knowledge of DO-178
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with containerized applications such as Docker
- Experience with embedded or low-level software development, including OS-adjacent or hardware-interfacing work
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development Methodologies
