Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, AI Solutions responsible for shaping and deploying enterprise-scale AI systems for an education organization. Drive solution vision and architecture for AI-enabled workflows, prototype rapid PoCs with LLMs and RAG pipelines, architect secure data integrations with core databases, and coach developers across teams. Focus on scalable AI infrastructure, production-grade agents, secure API data pipelines, and adherence to security audits for PII handling, while collaborating with product, data, and IT stakeholders to meet organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building integrations using APIs between applications
- 5+ years working with source control and continuous integration tools (such as GitLab)
- Proficiency coding or scripting in at least one programming language (Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Node.js)
- Experience with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment practices
- Strong understanding of automation tools and SDLC methodologies
