Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer – AI Platform to design and scale Nexaminds' internal AI capabilities. Build foundational infrastructure and developer tools enabling teams to deploy, monitor, and optimize intelligent cloud services. Design and operate core LLM gateway with routing, prompts versioning, and cost attribution; implement RAG pipelines, embedding services, and vector search; develop agentic runtime infrastructure and multi-agent coordination; build AI observability pipelines, governance, content filtering, and prompt-injection defenses; create polyglot SDKs (Python, C#, TypeScript) and automated eval pipelines; collaborate across teams to deliver scalable AI platform features using Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI, and contribute to governance, security, and incident response. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python as primary language
- 2+ years building production LLM systems including inference optimization, RAG, agentic patterns, or AI infrastructure
- Deep expertise in Python and working proficiency in C#/.NET for interop
- Experience with agentic frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, LangChain, or similar)
- Production experience with RAG architecture including chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval quality, and debugging RAG failures
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI including model deployment, API integration, and cloud observability tooling
- Platform & SDK design experience building internal platforms, polyglot SDKs, or reusable libraries
- Strong knowledge of AI observability and cost attribution, token usage, latency, distributed tracing across async workflows
- Nice to have: TypeScript for SDK and frontend tooling; MCP server development; automated eval frameworks; AI governance (RBAC, PII redaction, prompt injection defenses); Terraform provisioning; familiarity with NIST AI RMF / ISO standards
