Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer - AI Platform role focused on building Agents Kit for Mendix Platform. Develop full-stack solutions using TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, CSS, and Java; contribute to Mendix SDK and customer-facing applications; work with early adopter customers to understand needs and deliver AI portfolio modules that drive real business value. Join a distributed team in Munich and Rotterdam, operating in a hybrid model with in-office collaboration 1-2 days per week, and contribute to CI/CD, process improvements, and product quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, CSS, and Java
- Willingness to learn Mendix development and work in Hybrid Munich office (1-2 days/week)
- Strong ownership mindset for code quality and impact
- Familiarity with agile software development and collaboration tools such as Git
- Ability to collaborate with early adopter customers and cross-functional teams
