Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform & Agents

Job Summary
Senior AI Platform & Agents engineer to design and maintain the internal AI platform and orchestration components. Own core infrastructure and SDKs enabling LLM and Agentic workflows, build APIs/services for production-grade AI systems, collaborate with Applied/Data Scientists to translate research into scalable AI services, design robust data pipelines for real-time AI context in RAG systems, onboard internal engineering teams, and ensure repeatable, reliable software delivery with strong observability and security practices. Focus on delivering a developer-friendly interface and platform-as-a-product mindset for internal developers, with emphasis on AI pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, and scalable infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on software development
- Expert-level API and service development in Python and/or Go
- Experience with SQL and database management
- Hands-on experience building RAG pipelines and managing vector databases
- Orchestrating multi-agent systems
- Cross-functional communication across Data Science, Data Engineering, and Product
- Cloud Native principles and security practices (OWASP)
- Observability with Sentry, DataDog, or Jaeger
- Container-based development with Docker
- Source control with Git
- Experience with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, LiteLLM, CrewAI)
Desired Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Expert-level API and service development in Python and/or Go
- Experience with SQL and database management
- Hands-on experience building RAG pipelines and managing vector databases
- Orchestrating multi-agent systems
- Ability to communicate technical requirements across Data Science, Data Engineering, and Product domains
- Understanding of production-tested Cloud Native principles and security practices (OWASP)
- Experience monitoring AI performance with tools like Sentry, DataDog, or Jaeger
- Proficiency with Docker and Git for containerized development
- Bonus: Experience with AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, LiteLLM, CrewAI)
