Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems and backend services while building AI-powered solutions that process and analyze large volumes of clinical documentation. Improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of core platform infrastructure on AWS using ECS, RDS, and S3. Lead technical initiatives, contribute to system architecture, and foster a high-ownership engineering culture by mentoring junior engineers. Collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proven experience building and scaling software in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong experience designing scalable systems and distributed architectures
- Experience leading technical projects and driving engineering best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- A proactive, high-ownership mindset with a passion for solving complex engineering problems
- Hybrid work environment in New York City (3–4 days per week in the office)
