Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the AI-driven care management platform Phamily/Jaan Health. You will own full-stack feature development across Ruby on Rails, Python, SQL, and JS frameworks (Vue/React), influence architecture and engineering best practices, and accelerate delivery in a startup-like environment focused on real patient outcomes. The role requires 7+ years of production SaaS experience, strong communication, and a track record of shipping maintainable code for healthcare/healthtech SaaS products. Hybrid work setup with 3 days in the New York City office; travel 25%-50%.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of full lifecycle software engineering experience
- Built, shipped, and maintained production SaaS systems
- Strong architectural instincts and ability to coach others
- Clear communication with high signal and low ego
- Startup or fast-paced environment experience
- Clean high-quality production code
- Good UX / product design sense
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Vue.js / React / SPA
- Ruby on Rails / Python / Elixir
- SQL / PostgreSQL / MySQL
- TDD / RSpec / Playwright
- AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
- AI implementation
- Healthcare, SaaS, or startup experience
