Senior Software Engineer - AI Agents (Python)

Own the production agent fleet day to day, managing reliability, monitoring, incident triage, and continuous improvement for colleagues relying on these systems. Build new agents and capabilities on the company's standard open-source framework, handling scoping, prompt design, deployment, and hand-off into an owned-and-evaluated registry. Establish evaluation discipline through regression evals, output-quality scoring, per-agent cost tracking, and failure-mode analysis to measure agent performance objectively. Integrate the agent memory layer using a self-hosted service that honors the one-way lineage rule where facts flow from BigQuery into memory. Migrate existing agents onto the company-run cloud runtime without breaking live Slack workflows, executing a careful one-agent-at-a-time program. Implement governance in code including permissions, approval gates, and human-in-the-loop routing for compliance-sensitive content. Perform integration engineering for LLM APIs, MCP integrations, Shopify, and marketing tools, determining when agentic logic versus deterministic automation fits best. Work AI-assisted using tools like Claude Code and Cursor to help raise the shared standard.
