Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer – Agentic AI Analytics: Lead the greenfield build of an AI-driven analytics engine using Rust and Java with columnar/vectorized data processing and OLAP capabilities. Work closely with the CTO on a high-impact, performance-focused system for real-time marketing analytics, optimizing for sub-second queries on massive datasets, in a structured hybrid setup in Glendale, CA. Must bring 12+ years in software, 5+ years architecting data/analytics or OLAP systems, and 3+ years of Rust production experience; AWS cloud expertise and a strong foundation in statistics/data analysis are preferred. This role emphasizes ownership, performance tuning, hardware-aware optimization, and collaboration with a senior team in a fast-growing analytics environment.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years software engineering experience
- 5+ years architecting/building high-performance data/analytics or OLAP systems
- 3+ years hands-on production Rust
- proficiency in Java
- deep knowledge of columnar data engines, vectorized execution, query/dataframe optimization
- strong AWS experience
