Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to design and develop software for managing supply chain and e-commerce applications, including order workflows and inventory; build real-time APIs, asynchronous and batch processes to integrate with external systems; work in a scaled agile team, mentor developers, and maintain CI/CD pipelines; develop and execute unit, functional, and load testing; operate cloud-based distributed systems in Kubernetes, with strong emphasis on SDLC and continuous improvement; English communication required for aCommerce operations across Southeast Asia.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, software integration or similar roles
- Experience with SQL and/or NOSQL databases required
- Experience with a Message Broker (RabbitMQ, JMS, Kafka) required
- Experience with Javascript and Front End frameworks required
- Experience with in-memory data stores such as Redis preferred
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and agile practices preferred
- Experience communicating in English
- Ability to work in an agile development team
- Experience deploying and operating cloud-based distributed systems (Kubernetes ecosystem preferred)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks required
- Experience with automated testing technologies like Selenium, Robot Framework, or Cucumber is a nice plus
- Mentor less experienced developers
