Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to lead integrations with Academic and Health System Partners, building, maintaining, and evolving infrastructure that forms the backbone of Academics Integrations at Flatiron, including management of structured and unstructured data sources. Work with UK, Germany, and Japan offices and collaborate with oncologists, clinicians, product leaders, quantitative scientists, and customers to understand challenges and how technology can help solve them. Provide technical leadership, shape roadmaps, devise scalable solutions for partnerships, iterate rapidly while upholding engineering practices for quality and security, raise the bar for observability and operations, promote elegant infrastructure design, work with complex data pipelines, and bring deep knowledge of US healthcare data sources and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, and/or Ph.D. in computer science or a related field
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, SQL, Java and R
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS
- Experience with data warehouse solutions like Snowflake
- Experience with ETL frameworks like DBT and Databricks
- Ability to lead a small team and scale roadmap
- Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Ability to work with healthcare data sources and understand security requirements
