Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer 3 at Condé Nast in New York, NY with a hybrid work arrangement (4 days in the office). Lead development of the marketing offer platform, scale it across brands, and enable experimentation through configurable, user-specific contextual logic. Design and evolve payment and paywall architecture; implement support for diverse payment options and entitlement logic. Architect and maintain user context services that collect, evaluate, and expose rich behavioral data; ensure data quality and privacy best practices. Drive technical excellence through design and code reviews, mentoring peers, developing reusable frameworks, and ensuring scalable, maintainable implementations. Collaborate with stakeholders across product, marketing ops, and data teams to align technical initiatives with business goals. Contribute to roadmaps, technical planning, and long-term strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s in Computer Engineering or closely related, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in Software Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or closely related, and 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the field
- 2 years of experience with JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, GraphQL
- 2 years of experience with MySQL
- 2 years of experience with development/testing tools: VS Code, GitHub, Jest, React Testing Library
- 2 years of experience with AWS (EKS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront), Docker, Terraform, Datadog
- Hybrid work arrangement with 4 days in the office
