Job Summary
The Senior Software Development Manager, Cloud will lead cloud-based software initiatives, managing and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team of software engineers, quality analysts, UX Designers, and DevSecOps engineers. Responsibilities include developing a strategic roadmap for software development, overseeing project execution while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, providing technical guidance, managing budgets and resources, implementing quality assurance processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Candidates should possess over 10 years in software engineering, have strong technical proficiency in cloud technologies and programming languages, and demonstrate effective leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in software/systems engineering
- 8+ years managing technology teams
- Bachelor of Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Knowledge of cloud-native development practices and technologies, such as serverless computing, containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), microservices architecture, and cloud-native databases.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the organization's vertical and geographic locations.
