Job Summary
Architect and ship secure, high-performance microservices in C# .NET that power the Audit and Reporting services, ensuring reliable capture, storage, and surfacing of audit events. Build reporting capabilities that transform raw data into actionable insights while managing SQL and NoSQL stores, including Azure Data Explorer (ADX). Own CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate deployments and lead code reviews focused on performance and data integrity. Diagnose production issues via Datadog and collaborate with product managers to define the Audit and Reporting roadmap. Report to the engineering manager in a hybrid role based in Mexico City.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience with C# .NET and microservices architectures
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos DB)
- Working familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes) and cloud platforms, Azure preferred
- Comfort with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar
- Solid understanding of data integrity, security, and performance considerations in distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- The role is hybrid in Mexico City (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in our offices in Reforma
Desired Qualifications
- willingness to learn Azure Data Explorer (ADX) if not already familiar with it
- Experience with Azure Data Explorer (ADX), Kusto Query Language (KQL), or other columnar/analytics data stores
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for Azure
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog or Grafana
- Exposure to identity and access management, audit logging, or compliance-driven systems
- Experience migrating services between data stores or re-architecting legacy systems
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
