Job Summary
Senior Software Development Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing digital solutions within CVS Health's AT Claim Organization. Roles include designing technical architecture, coding software components, applying design patterns for scalable and maintainable solutions, conducting testing and debugging, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to agile processes and documentation. Requires extensive mainframe experience (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, MQ, Xpeditor, Endevor), healthcare claim experience, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Mainframe development (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, SQL, MQ, Xpeditor, Endevor or similar)
- Systems analysis
- Software design principles and architecture
- Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage changing priorities
- Team collaboration for project delivery
- 2+ years of offshore vendor support
- 2+ years of healthcare experience in claims adjudication/payments/ EFT
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
