Job Summary
Design, develop, and deploy highly concurrent, distributed backend systems in Go that proxy and broker secure connections at scale. Build gateways, relays, and control-plane services that authenticate users, enforce least-privilege policies, and generate audit trails without exposing resource credentials. Collaborate with architects and DevOps teams to define roadmaps, conduct code reviews, and maintain documentation for APIs and deployment processes. Diagnose production connectivity and performance issues across multi-cloud environments while mentoring peers and applying Zero Trust principles. Work from the Mexico City office three days per week in a hybrid role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience working as a software engineer
- Focus on Go (Golang)
- Focus on distributed systems
- Focus on backend/network service development
- Proficiency with concurrent and systems-level programming
- Knowledge of goroutines
- Knowledge of channels
- Knowledge of Go's standard networking libraries
- Knowledge of Go's standard cryptography libraries
- Strong understanding of distributed systems
- Strong understanding of network protocols
- Strong understanding of API design
- Experience with gRPC/Protobuf
- Experience with RESTful APIs

- Experience with another major cloud provider
