Job Summary
Redefine the online home buying experience by working directly with founders to build a streamlined platform from discovery to transaction closing. Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js and Node.js, implementing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services. Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate wireframes into well-architected features while writing clean, scalable, and testable code. Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance, and actively participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team stand-ups. Stay updated with the latest best practices in modern JS frameworks and backend technologies. Join the core founding team to solve fundamental customer experience problems.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience in product companies
Desired Qualifications
- Past experience with node.js and next.js
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Balanced mindset when it comes to building new systems vs using 3P systems
- Experience with any new age technology like nodejs, nextjs, java, python, react, Angularjs
