Job Summary
Senior Software Developer responsible for monitoring interfaces and production processes for errors and performance; provide first-level support, troubleshoot user-reported issues, and develop fixes to software applications. Collaborate with DBAs, SA teams, and Business Process Owners to test and implement changes, develop new programs or modify existing ones per business requirements, create test scripts, conduct unit/system/integration/capacity/performance testing, perform data loads, and write technical documentation. Engage in code reviews to ensure alignment with architectural specifications and support software upgrades. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and five years of related experience, with hands-on experience in Oracle Manufacturing modules and R12 development tools, Unix/Windows environments, and integration via Web Services/APIs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field of study
- Five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation
- Demonstrated experience in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing, Oracle Work in Process (WIP), Oracle Bill of Materials (BOM) and Oracle Inventory
- Oracle R12 development tools: Forms/Reports Development Suite, Oracle Alerts, BI Publisher, (SQL Developer or Toad)
- Putty and FTP tools (Filezilla or WINSCP)
- Advanced Development experience in Unix or Windows environment
- Interfacing with other applications using Web Services, APIs, flat file transfers or database links
- Two full life cycle implementations of applicable software applications or upgrades
- Designing and developing custom software applications
