Job Summary
Senior Software Developer responsible for the support, maintenance and enhancement of the eCommerce Application (Shop STERIS) using the HCL commerce platform. Duties include requirements validation, development, unit testing and coordinating software change releases; day-to-day support, coordinating implementations, upgrades, and feature implementation; collaborating in project planning with PMs, BAs, TAs and developers; design reviews; incorporating security and architectural standards; translating requirements into modules; performing unit, system and integration testing; creating prototypes; and developing/enhancing the eCommerce integration tier (middleware).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any) or related field of study
- five (5) years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained
- Development Life Cycle
- Developing application using JAVA
- Supporting eCommerce applications (IBM WebSphere commerce, WCS or HCL Commerce)
- Supporting mobile responsive applications
- APIs and Web Services
- J2EE
- PL/SQL
- WCS Subsystems such as Catalog, Order, Member, Payment and Marketing
- REST Services
- WCS tool CMC
