Job Summary
Provide estimates for development effort for requirements outlined by the Application Lead and Business Systems Analyst. Lead troubleshooting and optimization for production Magento systems while developing new features on Magento 2.x on-premise and cloud, and maintaining existing Magento 1.x solutions. Perform unit and automation testing, analyze user stories to develop modifications and fix bugs, and create supporting change control documentation including design documents and deployment instructions. Work within a CI/CD environment, providing guidance to the team on coding standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience as full stack developer on Magento 1.x /2.x
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
- LAMP stack expertise with fundamentals Magento, PHP/or Zend framework
- Strong experience with modern web technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS / Sass and market-leading frameworks
- Strong experience in Java / PHP / React Development experience
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming
- Working within a CI / CD environment
Desired Qualifications
- React is a preference
- Preferred experience with AWS-hosted Magento on DevOps toolchain
- Cloudsense knowledge and experience a distinct advantage
