Job Summary
Adapt technologies and trends to meet user needs while implementing best software development practices with the Development Manager. Take on technical challenges to get to the root cause of problems and lead from the front in a collaborative environment. Apply strong OOP principles and build microservices using REST APIs with Java, Spring, and Hibernate over five years of commercial experience. Comfortable with web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, with a passion for well-written unit tests. Redis, Kafka, Scrum, and VanillaJS experience are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years working in a commercial environment with Java, Spring, Hibernate
- Hands on experience developing and implementing microservices using REST APIs
- Strong OOP principles
- Comfortable with Web Development using HTML, CSS & Javascript Frameworks
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Redis and/or Kafka
- Some experience with VanillaJS, jQuery or any Javascript framework
- Passion for well-written, extensible and comprehensive unit tests
- Scrum qualification
