Job Summary
Design and implement robust Martech systems for Hub pages, Offers, Help, News, and Responsible Gambling platforms using Golang, React, Kafka, and SQL. Lead a small team of developers from start to finish, guiding technical projects through delivery while mentoring members and coaching on code quality. Own hands-on delivery of scalable, maintainable solutions from development to live, ensuring high availability across multi-browser environments. Act as the primary point of escalation for the team during and outside office hours, taking responsibility for work estimation, solution documentation, and accurate effort portrayal. Apply active governance to overall solution design and ensure all outputs meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Kafka, Google Spanner, Golang, SQL, .Net, Golang JavaScript and Typescript, or similar alternative technologies
- Proven experience of guiding development teams throughout technical projects from delivery to successful completion
- Ability to mentor and coach
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Proven record of accomplishment in high availability multi browser compatible development
- Experience of working with high availability, multiuser and service-based systems
- Acting as a point of escalation for the team both in and out of office hours
- Leading and delivering the development of scalable, maintainable and performant systems
- Applying active governance around overall solution design, while setting the standard for code quality and delivery within the team
- Ensuring solutions meet the needs of the Business
- Taking responsibility for work estimation, producing solution documents and ultimately ensuring accurate portrayals of effort can be obtained and subsequently delivered
- Understanding the technical structure, domain and architecture of the systems the team is responsible for
- Leading the technical delivery a small team of developers in the design and development of a solution from start to finish
- Owning technical solutions and their hands on delivery from development to live at low level
- Distributing knowledge and mentoring of team members
